The Birth

English: At every birth, I have watched my clients give everything they have. I have watched them as they grow into the phases of labor and surrender to what is to come. I have learned that the power of birth isn’t defined by the way in which a baby is born. You are no less powerful if you chose a medicated birth over unmedicated or have a cesarean over a vaginal. The power of birth is felt when you get to hold your baby in your arms and knowing that you created that baby. That is power that only you can hold, while the rest of us watch and support.

He aprendido que el poder del nacimiento no se define por la forma en que nace un bebé. No eres menos poderosa si eliges un parto medicado en lugar de uno no medicado o si tienes una cesárea en lugar de una vaginal. El poder del nacimiento se siente cuando puedes sostener a tu bebé en tus brazos y saber que tú creaste a ese bebé.
