Ecuador

Power and Healing. Fire and Water. Mountains and Earth. These are the feelings, elements and views I most admired about my trip to Ecuador. From the midwives to the shaman, it solidified all I have ever thought to myself. It amazed me how my mind was far beyond my time. Even before knowing I will be a Doula, my thoughts about my ancestors, birth and the body have always been so sacred to me. Becoming a Doula has taught me more about myself than I could have ever imagined. I have thought of my younger self, I have thought of my present self, and I am loving who I know I will evolve to be. My ancestors have guided me this far, and all I have to continue to do, is remain focused and true to who I know I am.
